Have I mentioned lately how much I love first looks? I do. Meredith and Dan had a super intimate and personal ceremony with just family and close friends on the dock of the Boat House Restaurant in Tiverton. Meredith walked down the aisle to “Here Comes My Girl” by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Love that song! Is that the most relaxed bride you’ve ever seen or what? Meredith, you’re too cool. Congrats Meredith & Dan! I loved working with you and your fabulous families – it was an honor to be included in such a special day!
In addition to being super adorable and photogenic, Maddie & Justin are also crazy talented musicians. They met playing in a band together and soon realized that they make beautiful music together (please forgive the terrible pun). We spent some time walking around the Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Norfolk, Ma on a gorgeous day this past fall. Congrats, Maddie & Justin! I’m so excited to be photographing your wedding this summer in Newport!
I had a great time photographing Tania & Chris at Colt State Park in Bristol. It was a gray and cloudy day, but they worked it! I know about two jokes, and sometimes I’ll break them out during a portrait session to try to make a client laugh. Chris thought I was HILARIOUS. Congrats Tania & Chris! Can’t wait to photograph your wedding day!
When I started choosing photos for this blog post, I selected a ridiculous amount of them. It’s so hard to choose favorites when the person in the photos is someone you love. Lindsy is a dear friend, and just about the kindest & sweetest person I know, so I was honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding. She and her handsome groom Alex were married at the LDS temple in Boston on a chilly fall day, and we spent some time on the grounds there before heading to their ring ceremony & reception in Franklin. Congratulations Lindsy & Alex!!
Christy & Jeremy were married in an outdoor ceremony in the gardens of the Roch-Jones-Duff Museum in New Bedford. You’d never have guessed to look at them that it was one of the hottest weekends of the year, everyone was too busy having way too much fun.
Christy was sure to set aside plenty of time for us to take some amazing photos at Ned’s point lighthouse and in downtown New Bedford. Their bridal party was so much fun, and totally knew how to work it.
Congrats Christy & Jeremy!
You may remember Rochelle & Mike from their Woods Hole engagement session. They were married on the beach on an amazing September day and had their reception at the Falmouth Yacht Club on Cape Cod.
