Lauren & Ryan Engagement – Providence, RI
Lauren & Ryan are just pure adorableness. (Is that a word? Is now.) We met up in Providence for their engagement photos on 11/11/11, which was a really popular day for weddings – we saw three wedding parties taking photos while we were out shooting. We were all praying that we’d be able to find some last gasp foliage, and were so excited to pull up to this sweet little park overlooking Providence & the State House. It was freeeeeezing out & the wind was whipping us all around, but they were such good sports- especially Lauren, who was determined to get some photos in her cute blue dress!

Later in the day, we popped into Johnny Rockets on Thayer Street to warm up & enjoy some milkshakes & cheeseburgers. It was a perfect treat after suffering the cold November wind!

Congrats Ryan & Lauren! Can’t wait for your wedding this Summer!!
Nicole & Phil engagement – Taunton, MA
Nicole is my bestie from way back. Like, waaaaay back. Secretly holding hands in our fourth grade class picture back. She and Phil were married last night in a beautiful ceremony, followed by a rocking reception (I have the headache this morning to prove it)! In honor of their wedding, I thought I’d share the engagement session that we did together this past fall. We spent the day at a local farm where Phil worked as a teenager. These are some of my all time favorite photos!
Billy & Bri – Fenway Park Engagement Session
A few months ago, I donated a portrait session to a silent auction to benefit a family member battling cancer. I was thrilled when Billy & Bri won the auction and even more excited when they told me that they wanted to do their engagement photos at Fenway Park! I’ve been a big Red Sox fan ever since I attended college in Boston & had an apartment right down the street from Fenway. I used to open my windows on game days while watching the game on our TV & was able to hear the cheers coming from down the street.

It was such a surreal experience to be in the park with no one else there.

The day that we did the engagement session was the same day that Terry Francona announced that he was leaving the team. (We were actually in the elevator with the woman from the park when she received the official email announcement.) There were reporters all over the place, and one stopped us and asked for quotes. Billy was in the newspaper the next morning!

Congrats, Bri & Billy!
Deb & Chris Engagement – Boston, MA
Deb and Chris were such a joy to photograph. I loved how much they made each other laugh during our session. We had an awesome afternoon walking around the Marina Bay area.

This is sweeps. He’s Chris & Deb’s tweeting monkey.

Jill & Steve Engagement Photos – Colt State Park
Jill & Steve just celebrated their one year anniversary. (Yes, I am very behind in blogging.) They had an amazing wedding, which I did not photograph because I was very busy doing MOH things. (That’s Maid of Honor to you.) We’ve all been friends for a very long time and I was so happy to be a part of their celebration. I had a great time shooting their engagement photos with Liz Friar at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI, which we turned into a very cool guestbook, which still needs to be photographed and shared with the world.
They brought their pup Chips along for the fun too. She’s very photogenic.

Happy anniversary Jill & Steve!! Love you guys! (and Chips, too!)
Baby Joey
You might remember this sweet little guy as the bump in Zack & Lindsey’s maternity photos, posted last week.
Lindsey & Zack Maternity session
This post is extremely belated – baby Joey is over a year old now! I’ll be posting some new (and not so new) photos of him soon, so I figured it’d be fun to show the entire progression. Zack is one of my oldest and dearest friends – when I moved to town in the third grade, I sat between him and my now future brother-in-law. Its been incredible to watch him transform from the very wild child that I once knew to an amazing husband and father. I hope to be photographing this sweet family for many years to come!
